This film blew me away. It made me laugh and cry – devastating. I wish I had seen it on the big screen, it was beautiful to look at. The relationship between father and daughter, while supportive, is also cracking at the seems as the two move further and further apart. These two actors are so intense and believable that it brings the film to a height – just sorry SAG decided not to honor this film. Also, the director keeps such an even pace, it almost seems slow, but the story so beautifully unfolds it is like turning pages in a book….highest compliments to all involved in the making of this movie.
